Stephen Filby G-Force

Stephen joined G-Force 2 years ago bringing considerable knowledge and experience to his role that has enabled him to create a positive and sustaining safety culture. 

Stephen has been proactive in establishing the Geelong Safety Group, a body of professional people who meet monthly to share their knowledge and promote safe work practices within the Region. Stephen regularly meets with consultants to discuss WHS issues, improving their knowledge and awareness.

 

Paul Scofield A-Plus

Paul Scofield is the Risk Manager at APlus Apprentice + Training Services. Paul has made a contribution that has been both innovative and sustained over a considerable period of time

Paul was a founding member of the GTA Vic Health and Safety Network and been an active contributor since its inception almost 15 years ago. During this period he has been involved in such innovations as the OHS Guidelines for placement of Group Training apprentices.

Paul McBean - SKILLED Group

Paul is currently completing his Certificate III in Telecommunications with Telstra and employed by SKILLED Group. 
Safety is of paramount importance at Telstra so additional training in the form of OHS courses have made Paul more safety conscious while working. Knowledge he developed regarding manual handling, working in isolation, pits, with ladders & with electrical equipment helped him to make his workplace injury free.

Brandon Thomas - G-Force

Brandon is a 4th year Carpentry apprentice employed by G-Force here in Geelong.
Brandon's drive and commitment has been a positive influence on his workplace due to the relationships he has developed with his colleagues and supervisors. As a young member of the team, Brandon's enthusiasm to succeed and contribute is well received on site. He has earned the respect of his colleagues and in turn they are open to his ideas and contributions on workplace health and safety. Brandon recently completed the OHS refresher course and covered topics like working in and around plant, asbestos on site, fuels and chemicals, risk assessment, working at heights, electrical safety and what we should be asking subcontractors to provide regarding plant.
