Mike has an extensive history of promoting innovation and excellence in OHS both within our organisation and more broadly across the group training network. Apart from the ongoing development and training for staff relating to OHS safe placement procedures, Mike’s contribution includes the extensive development of:

• Comprehensive organisational OHS policy and procedure manuals for both Westvic Staffing Solutions and several other like organisations
• Organisational OHS Strategic plans
• Incidence reporting and tracking systems
• Emergency procedures
• Auditing, compliance and reporting tools

Mike’s commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace is reflected by the results of the significant reduction in WorkCover claims from Westvic falling drastically from 50 claims pa to less than 10 claims pa.

With Mike continually seeking new implementation and improvements to our systems he is a valuable and active member of the Group Training Association Victoria.

Mike is always ready and willing to share information with our organisations. This insures Mike is regularly called upon to provide advice and assistance on managing OHS issues and reducing risk in the workplace.

Mike also played a huge part in the development of Group Training Associations online training company - Health and Safety Training - On-line.

Michael is an outstanding valued person for the development of OHS management initiatives for Westvic and more broadly our industries performance.
